Foreign Auto Services dates back to 1978 when Fernando first opened Foreign Auto Services in Fairfax City, right off of Draper Drive. His intent was to provide excellent service using quality parts and deliver that outstanding service with integrity. The family run business would remain at the Draper Drive location for 37 years serving the Fairfax City, Oakton, and Vienna areas. In 2015, Fernando had to move the store to its current location off of Lee Road in Chantilly, Virginia. Fernando never wavered from his founding ideals and over the span of more than four decades he stayed true to those principles building a lasting legacy.
Fernando’s vision lives on through his two sons who continue to operate FAS with those same principles that Fernando set out with all those years ago. Fernando brought his sons’ Luis and Carlos into the fold in 1995 and 1998, respectively. Thereafter, a modernization of the business would ensue with Carlos leading the charge. Right before the turn of the century Luis took time to enlist and serve in the US Army returning to FAS in the mid-2000s. Together, the brothers have more than 50 years of experience in the automotive industry. They continue to build on their father’s legacy while staying up to date in the industry with the latest technology to make your visit as seamless and transparent as possible.
